Dr. Perl is a board certified cardiology specialist at the cardiovascular division at the Rabin Medical Center, Israel. He holds a faculty position at the Tel Aviv University and acts as an attending interventional cardiologist at both the Beilinson and Hasharon campuses. His academic research encompasses both translational and clinical outcomes of patients undergoing percutaneous procedures, focusing on periprocedural care and interventional-based therapies for ischemic heart disease and heart failure.
Dr. Perl completed his M.D. at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, internal medicine residency at the Meir Medical Center, cardiology fellowship at the Rabin Medical Center, and interventional cardiology fellowship at the Stanford University Medical Center. He is also an alumni of the Stanford Biodesign innovation fellowship, a unique program focused on the process of innovation for development of novel medical technologies.
Dr. Perl has served as the medical director for Vectorious Medical Technologies since 2012, a company which had developed the V-LAP wireless monitoring system for patients with heart failure, as well as a consultant to numerous medical device companies in Israel and the Bay Area. He now heads the Rabin Medical Center Innovation Accelerator.
