Dr. Sokol is currently the Division Chief of Cardiology at Jacobi Medical Center (JMC, Bronx, NY), Director of its Cardiac Catheterization Lab and co-Director of Endovascular Services. He is also the Program Director for the Endovascular Fellowship program at Jacobi and an attending interventionalist at Montefiore Medical Center. He attended medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he currently holds an appointment as an Associate Professor of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center and fellowship in cardiovascular diseases, interventional cardiology and peripheral interventions at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Sokol is a founding member of the National Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) Consortium and currently co-chairs its Governance Committee.
